Speaking of longans and lychees, I thought this fruit would be a good addition to your list of exotic fruits. Rambutans are so gorgeous and sweet, a little bit less juicy than longans, and I think slightly more mild in taste. One of my all time favorite fruits. With so many exotic tropical fruits available, I wonder if that's why most Vietnamese eat them regularly like desert instead of having many cakes and candies like Americans. The collection of fruits at the groceries here in the US are just tragicAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17865316.post-38059968375886358882009-02-17T18:07:00.000-08:002009-02-17T18:07:00.000-08:00I love "staring" and the gorgeousness of those eye...I love "staring" and the gorgeousness of those eyes Tigerfish!Passionate Eaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14492203392706191554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17865316.post-34517614182087948772009-02-17T16:15:00.000-08:002009-02-17T16:15:00.000-08:00They really look like "eyes" in your photo! :OThey really look like "eyes" in your photo! :Otigerfishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13575213806359208350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17865316.post-26319393261564851612009-02-17T13:31:00.000-08:002009-02-17T13:31:00.000-08:00If this is the food of fairy tales, then I want to...If this is the food of fairy tales, then I want to try more Foodhoe!

I know you'll be doing some shopping for yourself KirkK, and these dragon eyes will be on your list!

I do hope you try one sometime Donna-FFW!

Melinda, you will be pleasantly surprised, they are very juicy and very delicious!

Check out your Asian supermarket for these fruits LisaIsCooking!

Oooh, I would love to try the Malaysian version of mata kuching Family First!

Thanks Wikiplugs.

I wonder how come longans aren't grown in Hawaii Chef Ben. Sometimes I loved the sweetness of the lychee over the longan and sometimes I loved the sophisticated subtle flavor of the longan over the overly sweet lychee. Either way, it was nice having them fresh.

Too bad longans aren't in season around Halloween because they would be the perfect party food!Single Guy Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02496236420566420946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17865316.post-37535090346947567262009-02-16T22:39:00.000-08:002009-02-16T22:39:00.000-08:00Hello Blogger,Ever thought how nice it would have ...Hello Blogger,

Ever thought how nice it would have been if you could show some random posts from your blog, somewhere inside your blog ?
Something which crawls more posts/stories than normal RSS limit ?

check some examples at

website: www.13above.com (See the Vertical Banner Here on the right panel…)
and blog: emailbookmarking.blogspot.com (... and also Horizontal Banner Here on the top)

Just have a look and then visit http://www.wikiplugs.com/labs/index.html to grab your free copy today.
